”Dear Kenji, Tesong & Shogo! I found your messages in a bottle on the beach today! It wasn't easy getting them out because they were kind if damp and tight - so it tore. Ended up having to break the bottle (in a self contained bag of course) and pieced it together. Yes, I must admit we were childishly curious and it was a lot of fun. It was almost like it floated in from Japan! It is amazing how in this world we meet certain people for a time and then depart - like the bubbles in the ocean come together and then drift away. In this case you have drifted in and found us. The bubbles analogy was from my teacher - he also mentioned something similar to your comment about the Pacific Ocean being the largest toilet in the world - he said the whole material world is like a toilet - finish your business and get out - who likes to stay in the toilet room! I also have sensitive feeling towards the sea. Today I was on a meditation walk on the beach walking for a few miles and seeing a point where the beach curves and saying to myself when I get there I will turn around. At that very point is were your beautiful blue bottle was resting. I had to look twice to realize there was a rolled up message inside! At that point I became a curious child. Realized that I couldn't get the message out without completely destroying it - I decided to bring it home and share it and that is what we found out in your letter you wanted. I'd like to say I never mind finding your bottle this fine day! Thank you! May you have a happy, healthy, and successful New Year... ” #
